Oslo - Adobe has launched an online service called Acrobat.com Presentations that allows for shared editing of presentations. The tool is available for free at http://www.labs.adobe.com/technologies/presentations, the company reports. The product is currently a so-called public beta version, which is a bit like a dress rehearsal for the final product.
Acrobat. com Presentations allows users to work together to produce online presentations. Within user groups it is possible to assign different rights for those members who can actively contribute and those who can only read the files. The service works with Buzzword and ConnectNow, a word process and web conference tools respectively for the Acrobat. com platform. (dpa)
